Our Mission Statement

  • In the highly complex mutual dependence and interconnectedness of people and organizations there lies potential for new and better solutions to problems, solutions that we have a duty to explore.
  • We explicitly welcome differences, diversity, plurality and full and fulfilled lives, in ourselves, and for all our clients.
  • We are making a decisive difference in improving the quality of how disagreements between people are dealt with.
  • We seek to maximize the chances for peaceful settlements and minimize the danger of violent disputes.
  • We achieve our goals through systematically applying the laws and principles of constructive negotiation, which we believe lead to the best possible agreements between individuals and parties.
  • Our service packages appeal to individuals and organizations whose decisions and actions are important, because of their far-reaching consequences.
  • Our services consist of advice and coaching. They are, in there very nature, informative, instructive and communicative.
  • In so doing, we differentiate between the conduct of negotiations, which focuses on the role of one person or one party, and the negotiation process, which is the result of all interactions of all the participating persons and parties.
  • Depending on the task at hand, we influence how negotiations are conducted, and/or the negotiation process, not only in the sense of working towards any possible agreement between the parties, but also explicitly with the aim of raising the quality of the solution in the case at hand.
  • We never seek to draw our clients into a situation of dependency; on the contrary, it is always our aim, after sharing our expertise, to withdraw as soon as possible, so that the client remains ‘Captain of their own ship’.
