Ulrich Egger

Founding Partner, Member of the Board

After studying Languages and History at the University of Bern and working for three years as an accredited secondary-school teacher, for the next 20 years Ulrich Egger went on to occupy leading posts in Human Resources for three international corporations, also living in Australia.

In 1985 Ulrich founded Egger Philips, in partnership with Frits Philips Jr. Since then he’s undertaken countless projects in business and in politics, in the roles of trainer, mediator, coach, adviser, and as a chairperson of multi-party negotiations. Some of these tasks were carried out during teaching assignments at various universities, and on behalf of the Swiss Council of Science and Technology.

1994: initiated and co-founded the Institute for Mediation in Zurich (non-profit).

1997: co-foundation and joint ownership of MEDIARTIS AG – Mediation and Conflict Management.

Since 2007: handing on the operational management of Egger Philips, step by step. Remains active as an advisor and as a mediator.
