Senior Partner
After completing his secondary school degree in economics as well as undergoing a further course of study of languages and history at the University of Berne, Ulrich Egger taught secondary school for three years. After twenty further years work experience in various management roles (Human Resources) in three international corporations (including an expatriate stay in Australia), Ulrich joined his Dutch friend and colleague Frits Philips Jr. in founding the firm Egger, Philips + Partner AG, an enterprise completely dedicated to the field of negotiation training and consulting. In 1994 he was also the initiator and cofounder of the Institute for Mediation (a nonprofit association) in Zürich and, since 1997, also cofounder and co-owner of the newly established MEDIARTIS AG, a company engaged in the practice of mediation and conflict management. He also serves as adjunct professor for negotiation at various universities. Ulrich has trained thousands of managers and attorneys both domestically and internationally. Since 1987, he also works as a mediator und leader of multilateral negotiations, including engagements for the Swiss Scientific and Technological Committee. Since relinquishing operational management of the firm in the year 2007, Ulrich continues to serve as Senior Partner and Supervisory Board President, as well as continuing his active practice as a trainer, consultant and mediator.
